Stylish hat from legendary Melbourne milliner Mr Individual.

This ivory hat is wool felt and is a bit like a bowler with a shaped brim. Three large curls and a leaf entwine the side back. Curls are wool overlaid with satin and top-stitched like quilting. Trimmed with a contrasting brown grosgrain ribbon and hatband. Unlined. Late 1960s-early 1970s.

• Circumference at the headband 54 cm (21.25")
• Crown height approximately 12 cm (5")
• Brim height at the front 7 cm (2.75")

Condition

Very good. There are a few very faint pin prick sized spots on the front brim, top of the crown and side brim, as shown.
